Hey guys! It has been quite some time since I've posted on here. The craziness of 2020 put a damper on a lot of my travel plans not long after I kicked off this blog so I kind of forgot about it. I've actually been on quite a few trips since then that I haven't documented on here yet (including a bunch of exciting international ones!), so I would like to go back and fill those in over the coming weeks. But before that, let's talk about a very recent one that happened just this weekend... Ontario, Canada has always been one of my family's favorite travel destinations growing up, and we decided to take a short trip up there again this weekend since it's been a few years. One of my first posts on this blog was from 2018 when we actually went to Mississauga for the very same reason - to go to Carassauga Festival of Culture and Food. A lot of events like this seem to have taken a hit after the pandemic years so I was a little worried it wouldn't be the same, but the festival was just as amazing as I remembered! Dimpflmeier Bakery Before going to the food festival, we had to make a stop at one of our favorite Toronto destinations - a German bakery called Dimpflmeier. We discovered this place by accident years ago when my dad was driving around and it has become one of our must-see stops every time we visit Canada. We found a nice garden that we had never visited before and ate at our favorite restaurant! Overall it was a great little weekend trip and we had a lot of fun together. Hey guys, I just got back from spending Memorial Day weekend in Ontario, Canada. My family and I went to an international food and culture festival called Carassauga. It's an annual event that celebrates cultures from around the world with live performances, lively decorated pavilions, and lots of good food. This year they had exhibits for 32 different countries and we managed to make it to almost all of them! This was pretty much my first trip with the new camera, so I went crazy snapping photos. Check out some of the highlights. Note: These photos are all taken by me, except for the ones that I'm pictured in. Those ones were taken by members of my family.
